Bright, clear view at all magnification levels. Very large field of view. The circle dot post with illumination reticle is extremely fast on target with both eyes open at 1X setting. A near perfect choice if hunting up to 300 yards or so, especially for deer and pigs. Varmint hunter would probably be better served with the VX-6 2-10X. higher
