Have not purchased a Leupold product in several years because in my opinion their design and quality has been lacking compared to others. Have to say this is a really nice scope and they have finally got back in the game. I compared this to a Z6 2-12x50. Optic clarity was very close. The main difference was color resolution if that really matters. Colors were brighter in the Z6 but like I said the clarity and sharpness was very close. Hunting in close and far off
I purchased this scope to put it on a 308 AR. It works great at close range in the brush and then in the open at long range. This scope is very clear and great in low light. The 30mm tube scope is on the same level as my Swarovski. This scope is better than the VX3 Leupold that I have. The illuminated red dot works great, the only thing I dislike about this scope is the push bottom to set the brightness of the red dot. It will not turn back you must go all the way again. I highly recommend this scope to hog hunters in the brush, I will buy another one for a different rife.

Leupold VX6
VX6 Leupold Scope - Excellent!!! - Low light viewing one of the best out there - Auto off and Auto on is an excellent feature when hunting. Leupold support is excellent but I don't think you will ever need to use it.

Leupold VX6 2-12 x 42
Mounted this on an AR 15. The low power is good for close range and the 12 power good for some long range shots. Clarity is excellent and i bought the illuminated reticle, it cost a few more bucks and isnt really needed but but it sure is fun to have.

Best scope I have owned
I have been a leupold customer since 1972. Varix 2,s 3,s I thought the varix 3,s were good but no comparison to these varix 6,s Incredibly sharp glass and a touch heavier duplex make these incredible in low light. If I had to do it again I would not bother with the firedot illumination. What good does a red dot do if you cannot see the animal? These optics are that good. Tracking good and another thing I like is no parallex adjustment. Just another thing to have to fool with. In my opinion this is the finest hunting scope money can buy

Great Rifle Scope
I credit the illumination system with getting me a very big bear.The red dot really stands out on a black bear. I have three VX 6 scopes on various rifles. They are very dependable and easy to use. Leupold has a great warranty policy. I sent a VX 3 in that I owned for years and it was quickly repaired and sent back. Cannot speak more highly of Leupold products.

Hesitated but pulled trigger!
I could not find a picture of the multi fire dot lrv and emailed Leupold. They did not give me any more information. I went ahead and bought because of all good reviews. The scope is very clear and I do like the 3 illuminated dots for different distance shots. I went ahead and ordered the free CDS dail but probably won't need it. This was good purchase from Opticsplanet.

Leupold vx-6
this scope was a super clear. i had my gunsmith mount the scope for me
he said it was a big difference above vx-3 for sharpness of view
can hardly wait till I go out and sight in the gun
was looking forward to getting my cds for longer range shooting ( thanks Leupold FREE! )

LU-RS-VX630MM-120595-DEMO
I had been considering this scope for sometime for installation atop a Rem 700, .300 Win Mag. When Optics-Planet (OP) offered a factory demo at greatly reduced price, I could not wait any longer to purchase. I was a little concerned about the condition of the demo, but felt that Leupold and OP really would not send me anything that was too beat-up. The scope is just like new except the Leupold button that manipulates the Firedot. The button finish is worn, but that is of no consequence. The glass clarity is great and I am anxious to zero and use the scope. I am happy about the deal, and as usual, the excellent OP service.
