Comparable to any nightforce - Leupold VX-6 7-42x56mm Rifle Scope, 34 mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I've had good luck with Leupold and decided to go with a VX-6 7-42x56mm instead of a Nightforce scope for my 338 Lapua. This scope did not disappoint. It was as good as any Nightforce scope I've ever shot and the 6x magnification makes it easy to bring this scope to a 100 yard range to a 1000+ yard range or anything inbetween. This is my second Leupold scope with a CDS dial and I have not yet used the CDS range dial nor sent in to Leupold for a custom CDS. Once I find my prefered load for the new rifle it might be worth ordering. Leupold gives you a coupon for your own custom CDS with this scope. I ordered rings when I ordered the scope, be aware that you need 56mm rings not the standard 50mm. Aesthetically the scope is thick and looks great on a big 27" barrel .338 Lapua. I'm happy with this product. It is a quality product and what you'd expect for the price.
