If you are looking for the good/great/best long range scopes, these two would be the glass I would pick from. The price difference between these two is about $1500.00 (MSRP). The AMG Vortex ($3,700 MRSP) is better glass. Period. The custom dial on the VX-6 ($2210.00 MSRP) is faster to use; however you are not going to change the dial all that quickly compared to vortex's doping card. I am impressed with how the VX-6 comes in at only 20.5 ounces compared to AMG VORTEX 28.8 ounces. If you want the very best and money isn't a big deal go with the AMG Vortex HD Razor - your friends will be impressed, but you will need to pre order this scope and start your year long weight unless you find one at a store. Both Vortex and Leupold have life time warranties and both support the American Military (active or retired) with amazing discounted programs.
