Most Helpful Negative Review small bug on reticle plane, out of box

First Leupold, decided to take a chance. Right out of the box, before mounting it, I took a look. Something foreign in there. Upon closer inspection, it has wings. I bought this to go in my browning 300, I also looked at a vortex viper that I really liked, I have 3 leupold scopes that I love and always hold zero so when they put this one on sale I had to have it!

Review for 6 HD 3 - 18 x 44 Leupoldscope

My review is based against a Leupold 4-24x56. The 30mm main tube of the 3x18 is closer to the Crosshair height of older scopes unlike the 34mm tube of the 4x24,yet combined with the TMS system allows ample light for aging eyes. With quick Focus the clarity is unbelievable at any power. The 3x18 gives plenty of options from 5-450 yds combine with the CDs system accuracy is great. My opinion best all around scope in it's class! Opticsplanet's customer service will cause them to be my go-to for outdoor products from here on!

very clear scope, appears worth the money

I have not sighted in yet but can see very clear optics and am looking forward to my custom cds.
I was upset to see the part of the scope that adjusts the zoom was pooking out the box, so it appears from the factory. Can not tell if any damage was done, but the price to see it was packaged wrong from the factory was crazy. I removed it and put it back in properly. It was just not seated into the foam inside the box properly. If issues I am assuming, Leupold will replace.

Purchased this VH-6 3 1/2-18 and mounted it on a Remington 700 in 300 Win mag. At 300 yds I can see the torn edges of the bullet hole in the target. Amazing scope! Looking forward to Nebraska this year.

Love it - Great zero stop

This scope is incredibly clear and love the zero stop! Well worth the money. It is outstanding in low light conditions, highly recommend it. Can't wait to get the CDS dial. Was relatively easy to dial in.

Nice scope.

I have always bought Swarovski and decided to branch out. Wanted to try a lighted reticle. Very nice scope would purchase again. The zero stop is spot on. Will be nice magnification for some longer range shooting.

Another great Leupold

I bought this to put on a Cooper 300 WM. I took the rig on a backcountry elk trip on horseback. The scope is clear and bright. I wasn't even interested in the firedot however I've grown to like it. I'll be buying another soon.

Leupold VX-6HD

Purchased this scope for a new rifle project. Overall size is larger than expected, but reasonable for a 30mm tube. Clarity is good and installation was relatively uneventful (needed high Leupold QR rings for Steyr Scout). Have not sighted it in yet, but it appears to be a rugged scope that should perform well. Only hiccup so far - scope battery was very weak and had to be replaced with new. This should be an easy problem for Leupold to fix.

Great Scope

Great eye relief! Love the FireDot in low light. Very good magnification range. The new turret takes the guess work out of long shots. Included scope caps are a must have. I now have two of these scopes on my deer rifles.
