Leupold VX-Freedom 1.5-4x20
Excellent quality as you would expect from Leupold. The Pig-Plex is a little "gimmicky" but I do like it. The one piece base purchased on Amazon fit perfectly. The caps are plastic, I would prefer metal but the cost savings is why they are plastic. No lense caps for protection, again at this pric...

Most Helpful Negative Review
Nice glass, cost cutting corners, turret adjustments suck.
The good: nobody does small size like Leupold. It is short, trim and light. If you have a need or desire for a small scope, Leupold has got you covered. And the glass is pretty good. There's a lot better glass out there, but this is ok.
The bad: the turret adjustments. Oh they're so bad. Mushy, vag...

Perfect unit !
Mounted it on my marlin 30-30 as an extra gun at camp. Works great for close in tree stand shots and possible 150 yards open woods shots !! I own 3 of them on other weapons very satisfied !!

Go To Scope
I have the same scope on my BLR 308, Ruger Marlin Tapper 44 mag and 357 mag and just scoped my Ruger Marlin 45-70 with the same scope.
Depth of field is excellent for picking up moving game and the magnification is plenty for longer distance shots.
In the Northeast we transition from hardwoods to softwoods to clear cuts and open fields, excellent choice for all.

Quality Scope !!
Quality made scope. The glass optic really is clear and the reticle definition is crisp! The overall finish of the scope is pristine. Very fine Elevation and Windage adjustments, with an easy twist of the drum. Each drum has a pronounced click at each movement of the drum. When you have the opportunity to upgrade to the next level in rifle scopes, be sure to make it a Leupold scope.
Pros:
- Clear optics
- Finish
- Value & Quality
- fine adjustments for windage and elevatio
Cons:
- No scope caps
Best Used for:
- hunting and target

Leupold 1.5-4x20 Freedom
Ordered a 1.5-4x20 Freedom rifle scope from Opticsplanet. It arrived a few days ago latter. I mounted it on my Savage Model 99 chambered in .308 . I was happy with the results at the range. Sharp, clear and bright glass , turrets track accurately and we’re all familiar with Leupold’s durability and service. A 10% coupon was included with my purchase Thanks Opticsplanet
Best Used for:
- Hunting 10yd - 300yds

Not a quality optic
Having to send mine back for the second time. Adjustments are pure slop and over correct with every “click”. They “fixed” it already, it came back the exact same. Will never buy another Leupold product. For this price I would expect better.
Pros:
- Looks good
Cons:
- Will not zero
Best Used for:
- A return box
Would recommend: No

Light weight, crisp and clear
It's hard to go wrong with Leupold, and this scope is on par with other's I have owned. Crisp, clear image, good contrast, very light. Image remains sharp throughout the magnification range, which is not true of a lot of the budget LPVO's.
Pros:
- Ligh weight
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
