The eyepiece diameter of the Leupold VX-Freedom 1.5-4x20mm Rifle Scope is 1.56". I recommend using the Leupold Quick Release Weaver Style QRW2 Rings medium height set at the link below for that rifle.

Excellent quality as you would expect from Leupold. The Pig-Plex is a little "gimmicky" but I do like it. The one piece base purchased on Amazon fit perfectly. The caps are plastic, I would prefer metal but the cost savings is why they are plastic....

Bought this and immediately mounted it on my Marlin model 1895 45-70 and took it deer hunting the following weekend. Shot perfect up to 75 yards where I wanted it sided in. Definitely recommend the scope.
