I just finished sighting in this scope on my Model 52C (mounted on a slick EGW cantilever rail). The scope performed flawlessly, enabling me to punch on hole groups at my initial distance of 25yd. The MOA reticle will prove more useful after I chronograph the match ammunition through the 28" barrel; then I can calculate the drops and distances associated with each element of the reticle.
Disclaimer: I am not associated with Leupold in any way, but I am a satisfied customer who has subscribers to their products for several decades. Compared to the Mark5HD and mil-spec (Mk248 Mod0) Mark4 scopes atop my high-power rifles, the price point of this Freedom scope is a welcome change. And it appears to be a terrific value at that price.
