Good, bad , ugly hit a lot of the cons deservedly so. Turret clicks are barley there. Knobs are ugly and plastic ( I don’t like plastic ! ). The MAIN gripe I have is the reticle. Great scope for the money

The Leupold VX-Freedom 4-12x40 is a great scope for the money. It seem very clear and has good low light visibility. I gave it four stars instead of five only because the adjusting turrets seem a little on the cheap side.

Great scope

Very Clear optics and holds zero well. I have never had an issue with this scope this is my third one to buy. Great price for a great product. I will be purchasing more in the future. Would recommend for every type of hunting

great scope

easy to bore sight --- just took my 7-mag to shooting range after boresighting-- after sight adjustment at 100 yards shot three shot group from sandbags you could cover with a nickle-- twice.The clarity and extra magnifacation on this scope over a 3x9x40is well worth the price---BUY NOW-- your next hunt will thank you!!!!

All around great scope

Purchased this scope for a CZ 457. When looking through the scope I was immediately impressed with how bright/ clear the image was. It captures light very well. The duplex reticle is very precise. Making shots past 100 yards is no problem with this scope. I’ll be sticking with the Leupold name.

Good value.

For 300 this is a good leupold scope. I put it on my 300 wsm with backcountry rings and a mount. It is nice and clear. I only shot 10 times, but it seems to hold zero. I will say that I expected aluminum dials. I still trust it more than a vortex.

  • This is a value hunting scope. I would not use it for a tactical rifle.

VX Freedom 4-12x40

Good scope, image is crisp and clear. Finish is clean. Did have a question and Leupold customer service was back in touh with me in less than a couple hours. This is my third Leupold scope, and all have given exceptional service.

Great range and hunting scope
