Excellent lpv scope - best value for the price point - Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x20mm Illuminated Riflescope

The Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x20mm is an excellent low power variable scope that meets or exceeds the requirements of the day to day home defense and close in hunting roles. This scope is of high quality and good price, made by a strong US company, with USA sourced parts. The manufacturing and quality control is second to none.

I have placed this on a Patriot Ordnance Factory (POF-USA) P415 with a 14.5" barrel using an Aero-precision super-lightweight extended mount, which sits the top of the scope about 1" above the rail. It is the perfect, comfortable, and repeatable mount for my form of shooting. This scope sits straight in line with my eye. You could obtain the same height with a set of Leupold MK4 High Aluminum rings and use this a a hunting rig.
