I really like using this scope. It's very clear, the dot illumination levels are perfect for different conditions (and visible even in bright sunlight), and the mil scale provides ranging and size determination flexibility. The scope is very lightweight, yet seems durable (I've had it out humping twice in the woods and shot several hundred rounds so far and it's held up great.
My only beef is that the scale is in 2.5 mil increments (even though the manual and specs say 1.0)... which took me a while to figure out. The 2.5 mil scale makes it a bit difficult to deal with in my head for calculations, and when trying to judge "fractions" of a mil when gauging an object's size. Though, with more use I'll probably get used to it.
Other than that, I really like this scope a lot. It's close enough to "true 1.0" that I really can't tell, and it gives a sharp, clear image with very little distortion even around the edges. It's easy to make adjustments, even with gloves on, and you can reset the knob "zero position" to match your own zero. I also like the fact it turns itself off after a short time of disuse... I always seem to get sidetracked and can never remember.
And best of all, I can look through it for long periods of time and my eyes don't hurt or feel strained.
