by jiff, from WA, United States Written on August 15, 2016
Great scope impressed how clear it is. Optics planet is great company to work with . It is going to a great hunting scope and long range shooting scope. Planning on buying one or two more of these scopes for my boys from optic planet.

Good Solid Scope

by Dperry86, from TX, United States Written on July 30, 2016
Can't go wrong with Leupold. Mounted on my GAP10 and works great. Clear and accurate and reticle lights up nicr and bright. Received it the 1st time with what looked like a scratch on the glass. OP quickly replaced it with a new one before I could even get the return in the mail back to them. They even reimbursed me using a coupon I received from the 1st scope.
Pros:
  • clear, nice recticle
Cons:
  • nothing!
Best Used for:
  • hunting

Leupold VX - 3 4.5-14 x 50mm

by Dave, from KY, United States Written on July 8, 2015
The scope is amazing. I have used it only for target shooting and sighting the new browning x-bolt 30-06 that I purchased it for. You must use the high mounting rings for the 50mm to clear the rifle barrel, but the optics are amazing. I have played with it at sunrise and sunset and the scope is very bright in low light. The windage compensation is very easy to see and I think would be easy to use in the field if you were using a light weight bullet that needed compensation. I have not received the custom range compensation yet but am looking forward to getting that for the scope. I would highly recommend this scope for a 06 as it has almost perfect range adjustments for close and reach out distances.

Another excellent Leupold product

by Robert, from FL, United States Written on April 13, 2015
This is an excellent product. Just the right amount of power for those long range shots and the illumination helps in low light.

I have shot this other people's rifles with this product but have yet to mount the one I purchased. I am waiting for a return to post before I do.
Pros:
  • Clarity
  • Easy to operate
  • Low light capability
  • Just the right amount of illumination
Cons:
  • None that I see
Best Used for:
  • hunting
