Great Glass Nice Scope for the Money

This scope has great glass,side focus works well,I like the covered turrets. I have this mounted on my Kimber 82 Govt. 22 Rifle and use it for 100 yard 22 Bench Rest. I can see all my hits well in all lighting conditions, do not need spotting scope. I first purchased this scope for a F-Class rifle in 6.5x284,with a 20 Moa Base I could get to 1000 yards, but that was on the edge as far as elevation goes ( perhaps a 30 or even 40 MOA base would fix this). So for Long range I feel this does not have enough elevation to be a true long range scope. But its perfect on my 22 Rifle

  • Elevation adjustment too low for LR

Great Scope !

Mounted this to a Sako Grey Wolf in .300 Win Mag. using Sako x-low mounts, easy to mount and sets very close to barrel.. After bore siting at home went to range and within 4 shots had scope zeroed in at 200 yds. Optics on scope are great better than any other scope I have. This scope is well worth the money

leupold long range scope

For the money this is a good scope its not to heavy and not to light to where it feels cheap the low end of the power is a little high but if you are buying it for long range then it should not be a problem.

Leupold VX-3 8.5-25x50mm

Returned to Leupold , unable to focus on higher powers at 100 yds . Unfortunately , I didn't detect problem until mounted , O.P.refused to accept back , waiting on Leupold . Optics appeared on par with five other Leupolds on my target rifles .

Long Range Scope

This is the second of these scopes I've owned and hope this one serves as well as the ten-year old one on my Winchester. I bought these for NRA HPLR competition and they are ideal for me. Good field of view, plenty of adjustment range, and you can slightly "defocus" to better see the mirage. Thus don't need a separate spotting scope which is a plus.

Great reticle, clear glass. Every bit as good as my mark 4. Only wish that it came with covers rather than a scope coat as it won't fit with the sun shade on.
Pros: Reticle, fit and finish, good glass

Leupold scope

Dont get me wrong leupold makes a great product, but this is the first high power i have purchase from them. The optics on highpower are marginal, the eye relief is almost inpossible and the adjustments are tight and not real solid. I wrote a review when I first got the scope from Optic Planet before mounting and looking at and thru everything, so I have a change in thiughts. I say spend the extra money for a night force and you cant go wrong. Optic Planet is still the greatest place to buy.
Pros: Good products
Cons: Down side of this scope is poor eye relief, adjustment are hard to find and use very tight no solid clicks

Awesome Scope! Had a $400.00 Bargain Scope and The Leupold is Centuries Advanced. The Clarity is Amazing and the adjustments are more than Positive.
