I purchased this to use for flippin' and pitchin' lures into heavy weed, grass and lily. I matched it with a Lew's speed reel and the combo works great. I don't need to cast far(In fact I haven't even tried to see how far this would cast)but it works great for the heavy cover. Stiff enough to yank the bass out of the heavy cover when they do strike, but sensitive enough you can feel even gentle strikes. A winner! Especially at this price.
