This reel is just what I have been looking for for a long time. The 4.2:1 retrieve and the large line capacity where big selling points for me. I do a lot of cold water fishing for Salmon in Michigan during the fall, and some of those bruisers can strip a bunch of line off a reel in a hurry. The only slower retrieve large capacity casting reels you can find these days are older used ones on places like EBay. I have gotten several decent reels there, but paid even more for them used, with a little less line capacity, than I was able to get this one from OpticsPlanet for. Price was right, shipping was fast. I now have two of them, and if they work as well on the Salmon, as I think they will, I'll get 1 or 2 more, as I like to carry 2-3 rigged rods in case one messes up while casting at night for the Chinook.
