Low recoil, major muzzle blast
I ordered two boxes (40 rounds total) to try in my Ruger SR1911 Lightweight Commander. I was looking for.45 ACP ammo that would be good for self-defense, but have less recoil than most typical self-defense ammunition, especially in a Lightweight Commander (28 oz.) 1911. At $1.69 per round I only shot 15 rounds of it (I wanted to save 25/40 for 3 8-round mags + 1 in the chamber), but the few rounds was enough to get good feedback. Great F-in Ammo
Running it in a Dan Wesson Specialist (post-break-in), 4.25'inch commander 1911 ran great and had zero issues. It is about twice as loud as normal 230-grain ammo and has about twice as big of a flash. I run an RMR on it, and usually, you lose the dot once fired with regular 230 grain, but with this stuff, it runs as flat as 9mm. You will need to turn up the brightness of your red dot because the muzzle flash will be brighter than whatever brightness you have the red dot currently set to, which is the only downside, but for a .45 round moving 1900, I think it a worthy trade-off especially if you just runs irons

Worth the $$$
Wasn’t sure how well this Liberty Civil Defense 45 ammo would cycle this my 45 but WOW, this ammo is great! It’s almost startling how light it is but but its cycles flawlessly. Plus, it does make the gun lighter.

.45 ACP Sizzler
This is my self defense ammo of choice for my FN FNX.45. With a 15+1 capacity, that can add a lot of weight with standard 230 grain loads. With this round, it is much lighter and thus more comfortable to carry, even with 2 spare magazinesfull of Liberty Civil Defence!

Decent Ammunition
I have not fired any of this ammo yet however it does appear to be solid well manufactured ammunition

Liberty Defense .45 ACP Ammo.
This stuff Sizzles out of my FN FNX.45!No problems with it at all, and as a Bonus, 15 rounds of 78 grain vs 230 grain is a huge weight difference! Especially when packing 2 spare magazines full!

Great Home Defense Round!
This ammo is great for home and self defense. It doesn't over penetrate and go through walls. It light weight ammo with low recoil! I'll keep buying it as long as they keep making it!

Great ammo
Extremely lightweight you can definitely tell the difference from a full mag of 10ths of 230gr to 10rds of 78gr. I carry it in my Glock 30sf and I have had no issues with it and packs a punch, I also have it in my Glock 19 great self defense ammo if you are looking to carry lighter and not have the heavy drag.
