Does exactly what it says it does. - Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense 10mm Auto 60 Grain Fragmenting Hollow Point Brass Cased Centerfire Pistol Ammunition

I bought a couple of boxes of this ammo to try out in my Glock 29. The recoil is very mild. Velocities on chronograph are over the stated 2400 FPS. Keep in mind that I shooting this out of a subcompact. So my guess is that if you shot this ammo out of a full size framed pistol, you would probably be pushing even higher velocity. Penetration is about 16 3/4” into a block of ballistic gel with about a 3” wound cavity. This is fired from a range of about 3 meters away. The bullet is made out of aluminum. What I ended up finding was that the hollow point shatters on impact, sending shards of metal throughout the wound channel while still maintaining the flat core of the mushroom hollow point. I would definitely recommend this round as a self defense round for a person who is just wanting an everyday carry load for their 10mm.
