Does EXACTLY what it says it does.
I bought a couple of boxes of this ammo to try out in my Glock 29. The recoil is very mild. Velocities on chronograph are over the stated 2400 FPS. Keep in mind that I shooting this out of a subcompact. So my guess is that if you shot this ammo out of a full size framed pistol, you would probably be pushing even higher velocity. Penetration is about 16 3/4” into a block of ballistic gel with about a 3” wound cavity. This is fired from a range of about 3 meters away. The bullet is made out of aluminum. What I ended up finding was that the hollow point shatters on impact, sending shards of metal...

Used for all my concealed carry’s
Love liberty ammo I use them in my G20-5, G29 SF Springfield xdm-e 10mm also for my 9’s like Hellcat osp and Taurus G3c. Yes you can conceal carry a 10mm I have concealed carried even 44 mags and as someone who’s had a CPL for 20 years you’ll find a way to conceal carry a hand cannon, I’m not a 380 fan those are more for piece of mind for smaller women but own one and my wife has a LCP 380 with these liberty bullets she will have when she’s working away from home or when I’m gone overnight.
Pros:
- cuts the weight down
Cons:
- price is crazy but worth it to me
Best Used for:
- self defense/concealed carry

This ammo will shred a 3A vest.
The reason i wrote this review was it does what it says. Everyone else's review were absolutely correct. It is lighter and ballistic gel test will tell you of the damage and wound cavities. But you wanna know about 3A armor tests. I bought a new vest because my old was old. Me and my buddy went to a private range and I used a 5 gallon bucket with an old 3A plate, and my brand new Glock 20 Gen 5. We tried Blazer 180 gr FMJ, Underwood 115 gr solid monolith, and Liberty Ammo 60 gr hollow point. First, Blazer, third, Underwood. Both were able to stop a round. But the second round, i went through the plate and punched a hole through the 5 gallon bucket full of water. I thought for sure it was just an old plate, I will use another old plate. I used three shots with Liberty ammo. It punched all three rounds though the plate, no f***ing problem. I puched 2 more rounds, same thing. I was SO impressed. I thought for sure the pistol round that could defeat a vest would be 5.7×28 lead free rounds. I was SO WRONG! The 5.7 rounds are a pretty small round, between 27-40 grain. The hole from the bucket was pretty large. I really wanna see if the Liberty 70 grain will perform the same target. I have 2 old side panels, and will try those.
So two things about 10mm firearms and ammo: 1) You can take out a bear pretty easy. 2) You can take out a 3A vest pretty easy. My Glock 20 is my new carry gun instead of my PSA Rock.

Excellent.
Excellent ammo. I used it in a Kimber 1911 and ran flawlessly. If you plan on carrying 10mm and want to save some weight this is the best option. It will also shoot flatter with less recoil. Its a win win.

FAST. Hole-Punches cleanly thru paper.
Used in a Glock 40, 6”barrel, longslide. Recoil was more like a full size G17 9mm. Very easy to control. Using a red dot at 7m, all shots within 4” radius, first time firing. Super fast round, the targets looked like Ive never seen before. Rather than the standard, charcoal dark rimmed holes w slight tearing, the target paper looked like it had been punched out almost perfectly w a hole punch. Minute tearing at edges, but no paper deformity. Makes me interested in seeing results in ballistic gel. Overall all worth the cost for the accuracy, and at over 2000fps, very curious to figure out if this would do similar penetration compared to hard cast rounds.
Pros:
- Lightweight & accurate
Cons:
- price
