Good for animal control
I got these rubber slugs to protect my rural property from stray dogs that roam around. The slugs aren't super accurate, but I can punch something pretty hard from 60 feet away or less with sufficient accuracy.
Would recommend: Yes
Not recommended for Semi-autos and will junk up your action
Optics Planet (or someone)listed the FPS at 850 which isn’t accurate. It’s actually 600FPS (like in the photo-which I didn’t notice-my fault). These WONT run in a Tavor TS-12, unless you manually cycle the action. To make it worse, I only fired 2 shells and they nearly junked up my entire action. Looks like someone poured kitty litter into it. Gun was spotless the day before. Wish I could upload the photos
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- probably wont kill someone
- very quiet report
Cons:
- wont cycle in semi autos
- dumps ALOT of debris into the action
- too quiet report. definitely wouldnt deter home invader
