We can all use more harmony...
Limbsaver works so well on buttstocks I figured the logic for this was pretty sound so why not go for more accuracy, and it works! Brought my 6.5 Criterion barrel from a 1.1-.9 MOA avg. @100 yds. to .7 sub MOA permanently. I bought one for my Wylde barrel as well, it actually looks like a cool handguard cap installed, people are gonna stare so be ready for questions.
Great addition to all my rifles, improved accuracy!
I have 8 of them on all my rifles and always add them to newly acquired barrels. They provide improved accuracy with hunting, target shooting.
Pros:
- Accuracy much improved!
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting!

Tried this on my Ruger 77 17WSM. I was skeptical that something so inexpensive would really work. I was frustrated with the Ruger 77. It would 5 shot group of 2 inches at 100 yards and now slightly over 1 inch. This made the biggest improvement after pillar bed, bed, free floated, trigger work and bolt work. Then tried it on my Anschutz 54 no improvement. (bigger barrel size)
Pros:
- It worked
Cons:
- doesn't alway help

Don't knock it 'till you have tried it ...
The Limbsaver barrel De-Resonator has worked on three different rifles; two rimfires and a centerfire. One of the rimfire rifles was a heavy barrel Varminter model which would seem to not offer much chance of improvement.
In each case after finding the best location on the barrel group sizes have been cut in half. I have yet to see a typical rifle that will not shoot smaller groups with specific ammunition and best location on the barrel. Follow the included instructions.
Yes - the result is ugly - a black dog-nut somewhere on the barrel. Be sure to add some light gun oil so that you can move the device easily. Don't and you won't.
After finding best handloads or factory ammunition I now plan to try this device on each new rifle I acquire.

Barrel De-resonator
A must-have if you use factory ammo. I was beginning to think my Savage was a dude. I tried a few different Match grade rounds but was still getting 2" plus groups. Put this Gizmo on, and after the first adjustment the groups shrunk to less than 1/2 inch. Best groups I ever shot. Also had good improvements from my AR using green tips. My advise is pick your ammo, adjust/tune it to your rifle with this thing, and it will help you get the most accuracy out of your weapon system
