I had been looking at this Lyon Steel fixed blade since it was first introduced. The $210.00 price tag listed by many of the big knife sellers was just more than I wanted to pay for even a knife of this quality. When I found it listed at Optics Planet for much less, I jumped on the chance to own this knife.

As the reviews have noted this is a stout, high quality knife that is capable of most outdoor chores with a slightly over 4" blade. It is also a beautiful knife with the olive wood handles. The skeath of leather that comes with this model is top quality, although does not have the carrying options of many of the kydex and cordura sheaths The blade came very sharp, and so far with limited use has held its edge well.

This is a top notch general purpose outdoors knife.
