A bit of an issue, but their customer support is excellent. - Live Free Armory Completed LF19 Combat Compensated Slide

I received my slide, and of course put it together with my GEN2 Glock 19 lower. Took it to the range, started shooting targets and much to my disappointment, about every second or third round I would have shallow hits on the primers of the rounds. This went on for about 100 rounds. I then quit. Did a quick field strip, found the upper well lubricated, cleaned the upper thoroughly, and went back to the original slide with no problems. That afternoon contacted customer support, and talk to Louis who directed me to check the firing pin area, the firing pin, firing pin spring. All appeared to be in good shape with no burrs or nicks on the firing pin. I would not access the firing pin channel. He then asked what kind of ammo I was using, and I said Winchester Range ammo (white box). He said they have had quite a few malfunctions with white box Winchester ammo. I told him I had malfunctions with their slide, but after putting the original Glock 19 slide on the weapon, I had no further issues. He said he would send out a new slide by FEDEX and for me to try that. So far, been unable to get to the range (Thanksgiving week), but plan on it as soon as possible. He (Louis) also explained which Red Dot site would work on their slide. I will try different manufactures of 9mm target ammo to see which performs best. Except for this hiccup, the slide seems well machined, and again Live Free Armory certainly backs up their product. I would recommend to anyone to try their product.
