Always check your guide rod in spring weight!!! - Lone Wolf Arms AlphaWolf Barrel For M/42 380ACP

I've seen many reviews about how this barrel has too tight of tolerances and I've seen this about other barrels as well. People have got to make sure that they have the right guide rod and spring weight! You can't just drop it in and shoot a full magazine without first ensuring your guide rod and spring weight is correct or it will not cycle properly. If you are using a bushing because you have a newer generation, make sure that it's a good quality bushing from a good quality company. The Glock store in my opinion has the best bushings as they click and place rather than just sit freely in the slide. You don't have to take the guide rod apart to install a bushing and then screw it back in with loctite. You simply click the bushing in place, install your guide rod and then test the cycle by firing off a few rounds. I fire a 9mm Glock 19 Gen 5 and I can tell you from my experiences with the newer generation model that everything is about the guide rod in spring weight which could range for me anywhere from 11 lb to 15 lb when using a compensator and if the barrel is not cycling properly as a standalone I would highly recommend testing other guide rod and spring weights to be sure before judging the barrel itself. I don't own a lone wolf barrel, but I do own a velocity mod 2 from killer innovations, kkm precision and faxon firearms. Those are three of the top five barrels you can possibly get for a 9mm. Unfortunately Zev technologies currently doesn't make one for the Gen 5, but I've had my experiences with loading and cycling issues and this has always been the cause.
