Excellent for my 1985 FN Belgian Hi-Power
really happy with this barrel - the drop-in model did just that in my '85 FN Hi-Power... i paired it with a Dead Air Odessa-9 and ran a box of S&B FMJ... first five rounds with no suppressor cycled fine (i did a very slight 1200-grit polish of the ramp beforehand)...
then i tried a couple mags with the suppressor using stacks 1, 2, and 3 - had a couple initial stovepipes and thought 'uh oh!' - but then not a single failure with the next 40 rounds - i figure it's a new barrel and that was it for the break in...
and here's the better news: this barrel is much more accurate than my original factory barrel! i was hitting 9X at 25 yards offhand - w00t!
and no baffle strikes, so the threading is right on the money... the bonus is the nice thread protector - a quality job all the way
i cannot say how this barrel would work in non-FN Hi-Powers - but the description says '98% drop in,' and i believe that statement...
if you have a Browning Hi-Power, get one of these barrels - you'll regret it if you don't...
