Most Helpful Positive Review Solid threaded barrel choice for Glock 20
This Lone Wolf threaded barrel was hard to find in 10mm. Optics Planet took a few days longer to get it to me than its usual speed. But, again - hard to find item. Great communication and tracking from OP as usual. The barrel is truly drop-in compatible with my Glock 20SF. Lots of case support,...

Most Helpful Negative Review broken case
First shot out of this barrel and the case head ripped off, the rest stuck in chamber. Was using new cci blazer 10mm. Once fixed really hesitant to try the underwood or anything with more power, that i bought this barrel for since its fully supported. Lost confidence in this product. Waste of money ...

Great price bad execution.

by Dergklerk, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on March 20, 2023
I purchased this based on price and do NOT research as much as I should of. I have a barrel for my G19 that is just fine. It seems most are having issues with feeding. I have feeding issues on approximately 50% of the feeds. I used 3 types of ammo to no avail. Some are repairing the ramp that is too small to feed, but I don't know how to do that. Looking at the original barrel, there is a very distinct I have not written the parent company, but will. This is a huge problem for me rendering the barrel useless. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Pros:
  • Ok price on a threaded barrel.
Cons:
  • Worthless as it ships
  • Does not cycle.
  • Poor production quality and testing.

Failure to feed and split casings

by Funker907, from AK, United States Written on February 19, 2023
From the very first attempt to chamber a round it has stove piped, failed to chambered and all around not functioned. I've tried a vast assortment of factory loads, changed recoil springs and no change in function. This is a extreme waste of money when it comes to function and use. I can't depend on this barrel and that defeats the purpose of the weapon.

  • None
Cons:
  • Failure to feed
  • Stove pipe
  • Split casings

Failure to feed in G20 2nd gen

by Retired in Texas, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on January 11, 2023
I have read both good and bad reviews for this product. My experience was bad. I really wanted this Lone Wolf AlphaWolf threaded barrel to work so I had even checked the manufactures website before ordering from Optics Planet to ensure the threaded barrel was OK for the full size G20 gen 2. However out of a loaded mag only ONE of 8 rounds actually made it into the chamber before I gave up. I use only high end jacketed hollow point ammo. 7 of 8 attempted cycles jammed hopelessly. I suspect either the manufacturers quality control, or product design, or application information is BAD. I also note the manufacturer has not been very helpful to other people with problems. I therefore will return this product to Optics Planet for a credit and order a non threaded 6" GLOCK barrel which I know will feed correctly. And I can have the end of the longer barrel threaded by a gunsmith if desired. Unfortunately Glock does not appear to offer such an option. I will not risk ordering any more Lone Wolf products since they appear to be hit and miss on their usefulness. I have been an Optics Planet client for many years with hundreds of items ordered and this is the first one I have had a problem with. As a side note, I ordered a threaded barrel for a Glock 22 gen 2 (40 S&W) made by SilencerCo that works perfectly out of the box so I know that supplier has quality products, but unfortunately they don't offer a threaded barrel for the G20 models.
Pros:
  • A threaded G20 barrel which are rare
Cons:
  • It does not work in many cases

Great threaded barrel

by Blaine C, from KY, United States Written on February 26, 2022
I was pretty skeptical on buying this from all the mixed reviews so I took my chances. And it fits great and it shot all the different brands of ammo I had but I had some flat tipped rounds that it didn’t like too much. It cycled them a little rough but cycled my hollow and round tipped ammo perfectly fine. It’s very accurate compared to the OE barrel. The thread protector might need a little oomf to tighten so it doesn’t loosen after a few shots. But I have a compensator for it. I like it. No problems so far and already shot over 50 rounds. Only slight issue I have for it is that the feed ramp is a tad bit narrower than the OE but with some sanding or polishing and it cycled rounds a lot easier
Pros:
  • Accurate
  • Excellent value
  • dropin
Cons:
  • Narrow feed ramp
Best Used for:
  • Suppressor
  • Compensator

Quality product.

by Alexander, from GA, United States Written on January 27, 2022
At first my barrel was like the others. It would not chamber my factory rounds but oddly it chambered my personally loaded rounds. I think this is because it has a different feed ramp than the traditional glock barrel Well after consistent chambering and rechambering it now chambers anything I throw in it. I shot it st the range today and it works flawlessly. Factory loads and reloaded ammunition too. Very accurate out of the box.
Pros:
  • Worth the money
  • top notch quality
Cons:
  • Break in period
Best Used for:
  • Precision shooting

Threaded 10mm

by Mark K, from AK, United States Written on September 20, 2021
Great quality, quick order processing and price was spot on! Barrel dropped into my G20 and the thread protector is easy to take on and off. Slight extra length of unthreaded barrel plus threading. The rifling is concise and fluting on the exterior of the barrel adds a nice touch to a great product!
Pros:
  • Fit, finish, plug and play
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Suppressor with LID

Dont buy aftermarket glock parts they never work

by TonyPizza, from KS, United States Written on July 17, 2021
Terrible product, jamomatic even with suggested spring combo. Lone wolf has 0 customer service they do not reply or pick up phones. Don't waste your money, the stock barrel is fine. Buy an OEM glock 40 barrel then take it to the gunsmith if you want to add something.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Jams
  • FTF

  • nothing

Lone wolf Glock 20 barrel

by Cpike, from NC, United States Written on March 7, 2021
Chamber was tight at first and had some feed issues. Changed ammo and broke the gun in and now the barrel and gun run fine together. Was the only Glock 20 barrel I could find in stock. Would recommend
