Entrance of barrel not machined properly
This barrel is unusable in the Glock 42. The entrance of the barrel just above the ramp is not smooth but has a slight edge unlike the original Glock barrel. When the bullet slides up the ramp the brass hits the edge and won't load. I have tried everything but the only way I can get a bullet to load...

Disappointment
Fit and finish not great, looked unfinished. Machine marks visible. Would not load ball ammo. Every round jammed into the feed ramp, two mags. Decided to exchange it. Then get an email saying 4-7 weeks wait. Canceling this exchange on Monday. What a waste of time and money.

Not Glock reliable
I had the most most malfunctions ever in a Glock 42 with this barrel. Failure to feed and light strikes. Threads are not optimally machined. Good threaded barrels have a thread relief between the threads and the shoulder. This barrel does not, the threads are contiguous to the shoulder. It might be good enough for funning around, but the barrel is unreliable and untrustworty for carry.

I put one magazine through it. Either an FTF or FTE with every round. No suppressor attached. Product was returned. Good customer service on the part of Optics Planet, however, and I will continue to shop here.

Hard to get and Rare find.
This barrel is really well made and for the price it's really hard to beat. I can't tell how long I waited for this product to come and when it did, I had to purchase it right away. It fits perfectly in my Glock .380ACP and shoots straight, very accurate indeed. I recommend anyone with a Glock .380ACP to try it. And the threaded barrel fits perfectly for my new suppressor. You won't be disappointed.

Catches rim of cartridge
As stated above. There is a small lip on the inside of the feeding ramp that catches the rim of the cartridge. Other then that it feels okay, but the threading looks sloppy and the thread protector is very loose.

Glock 42 threaded barrel
Everything was fine after the backorder of nearly four months. Threaded barrel was excellent. Fit perfectly in the Glock 42. Waiting on a suppressor to see how it shoots through new threaded barrel.
