Works great !
Works as it should. Cases extract in the same direction as the stock Glock extractor. Installation was as easy as taking the old one out and putting the new one in. Just keep your old one . Having a spare extractor is always a good thing.

Added insurance
I have this installed in a G-22 3rd generation. No problems. When I swap out a factory G-31 barrel into the same pistol, No problems. I'm a retired firearms instructor from the largest Police department on the east coast. The number of Glocks carried by members, numbered in the tens of thousands. I've seen my share of chipped extractors, and frankly, would hate to have one on my pistol during an armed encounter. The instructors were issued high powered, illuminated, magnifying loupes for the sole purpose of inspecting extractors. I never dropped the slide on a loaded chamber, yet my G-19 extractor chipped. Your Glock becomes a one shot club when this happens. Until Glock improves their extractors, this is the option I have chosen. I recommend a gunsmith install this. If you install a LCI extractor into a slide with non-LCI parts you will run into problems. Glock trained armorers know how to properly install this.
Pros:
- Drop in installation (by gunsmith)
- Durable (billet, not MIM).
Cons:
- price
- Gunsmith installation recommended.
Best Used for:
- Keeping your pistol running when you need it.
