This barrel fit as designed and installed easily. Unfortunately, after cycling the slide by hand a few times, I noticed that the black SBN surface of the barrel was chipping and flaking off. I cycled it a few more times and more of the surface came off revealing the shiny stainless metal underneath. This looked very unsightly and is also not something that SBN coatings are supposed to do. I contacted Lone Wolf Dist. to inquire about the defective coating and they said I should send it in, at my expense, to have it inspected. Having never fired a round through the barrel and it already proving to be of poor quality, I decided to return it and look for something better. This would probably be a great product if Lone Wolf made sure their SBN process was done properly.
