Most Helpful Negative Review Deffective SBN coating
This barrel fit as designed and installed easily. Unfortunately, after cycling the slide by hand a few times, I noticed that the black SBN surface of the barrel was chipping and flaking off. I cycled it a few more times and more of the surface came off revealing the shiny stainless metal underneath. This looked very unsightly and is also not something that SBN coatings are supposed to do. I contacted Lone Wolf Dist. to inquire about the defective coating and they said I should send it in, at my expense, to have it inspected. unreliable, poor material

just received my alpha wolf 359TH barrel immediately went to range fir testing. after several rounds it s busted cracked even ruined my G35 slide.This is my 2nd alpha wolf conversion barrel . the 1st one had also the same problem.

9mm ammo will not chamber and jammed part way in!

So I was excited about this long wolf alpha wolf threaded conversion barrel and really hoped it would work. Installation was easy works awesome only problem is it doesn’t work. I am motive to magazine and went to Chamber the first round and it got stuck hard about halfway in. Took me quite a while to get it out without damaging anything. Switched to a different ammo same exact thing. Tried several more different types of ammo again the same thing. It’s like it’s totally defective or was cut to the improper diameter. Now I’m stuck with a barrel I can’t use!

Chamber is not concentric

My alphawolf 9mm barrel looks good. The finish is good. However, it only will chamber certain 9 mm, And has trouble with many other 9mm. Well my other 9 mm guns have no trouble chambering. Most my ammo on hand has trouble chambering in this new alphawolf barrel. It seems like the barrel was defective from the factory.

  • Will not chamber most rounds.
  • will not chamber most ammo
Cons:
  • Will get you killed in a gun fight
