Most Helpful Positive Review Slide Release

Not sure about everyone else but I have small hands and I’m getting older. On especially the smaller model Glock, the slide release barely sticks out enough to hold down and manipulate the slide. This is great with just enough extension on both sides for it to release easily.

Sticks Out Too Much

by EBrown, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on September 22, 2026

Installed this slide takedown ever on my G43x, but not liking it. I've installed extended controls on my other Glocks that were perfect; this one sticks out a bit too much on each side!!! Looks tacky... and feel it can be a potential snag point. Poor design in my opinion.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Does not fit well

Appears to be a solidly built slide release. The fit and finish are nice. Lone Wolf is a reputable company.

This is my second time purchasing the Wolf Extended Lock Lever. Works just fine and looks as good as the OEM one.

Need Extended Slide Lock Lever Modification

by JB, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on February 26, 2025

Extended slide lock lever makes it easier to release the slide from the lower receiver. If you find it difficult to deploy the factory Glock slide lock lever, this extended slide lock lever significantly improves deployment of the slide lock.

Pros:

Ease of access and operation

Cons:

None

I put these on all my glocks. It just makes it a little easier to break them down.
