Most Helpful Positive Review LPA Shotgun Sight
This site fit perfectly on a Beretta A300 Patrol replacing the plastic rear sight. When installing on the A300 be sure to pre fit and check the hold down screws on the sight. The provided screws are too long on the forward hole on the sight causing the bolt to be locked in place when tightened. The ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Not for a stoeger
I purchased this off the recommendation from one of the comments that it would fit a Stoeger. Unfortunately it does not. The product itself seems to be of good quality. The product could be good if if fit my shotgun

Sight is great -- problem with mounting hardware.

by TomEye, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on December 9, 2025
I had the same issue as Wolfman. When mounting on a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol shotgun, the front mounting screw is too long and locks up the shotgun's bolt. I tried to cut it down but took off too much, to where it wouldn't engage the threads. I ended up ordering an Eagle Precision "Red Dot Mega Pack" of screws. The winning combo was two M4 oval-head screws: 8mm length for the front and 10 mm length for the rear.

LPA Adjustable Rear Shotgun Sight

by Steve, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on August 10, 2025
I was a little bent to find out that my new Beretta A300 UP came with a plastic non adjustable rear sight. I went to the Beretta website to order an adjustable rear sight for the 1301 it was all plastic too. No freaking way on shotguns in that price range. Opticsplanet saved the day!!!! They had the LPA adjustable rear sight for the same price as the plastic one and the LPA is all STEEL!!! So happy was I that I bought a second one for my 1301 within a week of buying the first one. Thanks Opticsplanet!!!!
Pros:
  • All steel
Cons:
  • None

Fits Beretta Ultima 300

by Bobs Your Uncle, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on June 23, 2025
This is the site Beretta should have put on the Ultima 300 shot gun. Instead, they decided to be cheap and put an all plastic site on their shot gun. So, just buy this all metal site and take off that cheap plastic site that belongs more on BB guns.
This LPA is a direct fit on the Ultima shot gun with the included screws. Optics Planet has this product in stock and has the best price on this thing when you use the discount codes.
Pros:
  • all metal
Cons:
  • N/A
Best Used for:
  • Beretta Ultima 300

Great sight, but check packaging for correct hardware.

by Ken, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 10, 2024
The sight is fantastic, but my version (Beretta 1301T) was supposed to come with two M4 .75 x 6 fasteners and two with some other thread. Mine were all the other thread. The head is smaller than you can get from a hardware store, so I ended up ordering them as small parts from Fusion (the US distributor.) The sight took a long time to come in so I was worried about returning it for a replacement - I’m sure OpticsPlanet would have taken care of me, but I was under time pressure. Be sure you have the correct fasteners.

LPA Shotgun Sight

by Wolfman, from NC, United States Written on March 17, 2024
This site fit perfectly on a Beretta A300 Patrol replacing the plastic rear sight. When installing on the A300 be sure to pre fit and check the hold down screws on the sight. The provided screws are too long on the forward hole on the sight causing the bolt to be locked in place when tightened. The rear screw length is fine. I had to dremel about 1/16 off of the front screw for a proper fit.
Pros:
  • Solid Metal
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • replacment
