Can't go wrong with LPA sights

by alphamomega, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on January 11, 2025
I put these sights on my CZ75B.
They fit, look nice and work fine.
Looks like a quality product too.

I noticed the rear sight sits significantly higher than the top of the slide,
making the sights higher than they need to be.
There is a definite gap between the top of the slide and the bottom of the sight.

Four stars because I believe the sights could be slightly lower to give my
pistol a sleeker look.
Pros:
  • Fit, function, quality
Cons:
  • asthetics - could be lower

Works, but a lot of work

by RugerPMan, from NC, United States Written on October 10, 2023
For a Ruger P94, the rear sight needed a lot of filing to fit. Not only of the dovetail, but also the bottom surface at the front of the sight in order to clear the little ridge that the P94 has along the top of the slide. Also, the sight has two set screws, but on the P94 only the left one can be used. If the right one is tightened down, it interferes with the firing pin safety block. I put lock-tite on it and left it flush with the bottom of the sight.
The front sight is nicely visible. When installing it, I used the "drill halfway from both sides" method. In order to minimize widening the holes on the frame, insert your drill bit as far as you can into the chuck to minimize wobble and flex as you drill the sight.
Once installed, all worked well. The plain black rear sight has good contrast with the bright front fiber optic.
Pros:
  • Good contrast between sights
Cons:
  • Much fitting required
Best Used for:
  • recreational shooting
