I have only good things to say about this red dot . Auto dimming or manual ,the dot is super bright. The housing is solid. The retical is where this red dot shines easy to use and fast wide field of view. It has auto off. The only thing that could make it better would be auto on. It uses aaa battery’s that are easy to find . Use lithium battery’s for better performance. And to avoid batt leaks . Nicad battery’s work well to . This sight works well on both Ar and ak platforms. Optics planet had the best price and it shipped very fast. I think lucid will sell many of these because of retical.
