Cheap feel
It does what it needs to do, however compared to other detents out there, it has a cheap look and feel. The finish on it comes off easily and the metal is ‘soft’ and not hardened, so if that doesn’t matter to you and all you care about is function, this will work. But if you want high quality and expect long life, look elsewhere.

Detent for those who needs extra
Quality detent, especially for the ones you just lost. Either use it as a spare or right out the gate. Having extra detents is a must whenever building ARs is you passion. Cheap and easy, have like 5 of these in your bag and youre good to go.
