This is the least expensive of aftermarket bolt catches I've tried, but no less in quality. Fit and finish is excellent and it installed with zero issues. At 3/4" at its widest point and about 1/2" proud off of the receiver, it is however big and sits tall in both positions, if you plan on carrying the rifle on a sling you might want to take that into consideration as it can and will snag on clothing and gear. Otherwise, its form does enhance functionality as each paddle of the catch has a very distinct tactile feel.
