gold nitride trigger assy
I purchased this trigger group to compliment my bcg, it is mil-spec, which is good, but it appears to be painted gold nitride not actually coated the way the bolt carrier groups are. Somewhat disappointing but it does provide a nice look still to go with my gold nitride bolts. The cost was pretty much the same as the standard black trigger group, so all in all I'm not displeased with the purchase it just wasn't what I was expecting.

Impressed!!
I'm what you could call a drop-in trigger snob... this trigger impressed me!! I bought it because it matched the gold accent theme of my most recent build, but I didn't know if I would end up keeping the trigger gold so I didn't want to spend drop-in money.(I'm also cheap) Aaand this trigger got me into free shipping and paid for part of itself. I'm going to run this trigger for a few hundred rounds and strongly feel like I'll keep it once it's broke it! The creep is slightly more than a single stage drop-in, MUCH less than Mil-spec. Weight is more than a 3.5lb DI, a little less than Mil-spec. The break is very clean with no ledge. Great trigger at a very reasonable price in my opinion!

looks pretty, but very gritty
Maybe I'm too picky, but I had remove the finish, and pollish all contact points before it felt acceptable. After all of the labor, it looks pretty sweet in a Kodiak Brown chasis. I used JPE 3.5lb spring set, and it feels pretty good now. Only recommended for those who like the gold look, but don't mind putting in some labor to remove some of the coating, and doing some pollishing.
Pros:
- astetics
Cons:
- Feels rough, unfinished
Best Used for:
- Any & All AR-15 Builds
