Luth-ar widebody handguard perfect for a bench rifle - Luth-AR Widebody Palm Handguard, Vented 15 in MLOK

Built an AR15 bench rifle for long range target shooting (prairie dog control), and needed a wide, flat handguard to ride the bag better. In the past I would attach a flat plate to the rifles handguard, but always a compromise. This was perfect. Although it comes with a barrel nut, the existing nut on the rifle worked fine. Since my rifle was already blueprinted and assembled and proven to be very accurate, not having to replace the nut was a bonus. A very heavy handguard but that’s what I wanted for the bench. I may pull it off and machine most of the pic rail off the top of it. I prefer the scope as low as I can go, but had to swap rings to about 1/4” higher for the objective to clear the guard.
