Dovetail slot blank
A well made product. However, be sure you are comfortable with patiently filing and fitting this into your gun's sight dovetail. With patience it will fit very well. If you rush the job it will either fit loosely, or you will damage it by hammering on it to get it to slide into place.

Lyman quality
This is another great Lyman product. Fits into 3/8" rear slots very well. Keep in mind that this slot blank is probably intended for modern rifles, as Lyman original slot blanks were flat top, not curved. This would not appear appropriate on your vintage Winchester.
