Budget turret press - Lyman Brass Smith All-American 8 Turret Press

I use the All-American 8 to reload 9mm. The press has very little up and down movement in the turret head during operation. It definitely has less play than my progressive LNL and 550. However, the priming and de-priming systems are not designed very well. I do not use the priming system anymore and the spent primers go all over the place. I can make do with using my RCBS 9460 auto priming tool. However, there is no fix for the poorly designed de-priming system. I would probably pay a little extra and get a T7 if I had it to do all over again. For most people it will be fine. If high quality is your preference, then you should consider other options.
