lube the o ring
Initially i thought the same as the previous comment. But i noticed they use a rubber o ring eliminate the slop in the retention. I thought maybe the rubber was dry and thats was causing the binding. I rubbed in a little bit of oil with a q tip and thats all it needs to take it from zero to one hundred in no time.

stiff.....and slow
I had high hopes for this as it is very PRETTY and of seemingly higher quality than the traditional plastic HKS speedloaders I've used for the last 30 years. Sadly this thing is a pretty but useless item. it's VERY stiff to work lock/unlock action which makes it a SLOW LOADER rather than a speedloader. So just save your money and get the standard HKS units. They aint shiny but they WORK!
