Easier than mic'ing each case
Simple to use! Easy way to check to see if cases nee to be trimmed. If they fit no trim if they don't well then you have to trim.
Pros: Simple to use
Cons: If you need to know the exact length you will still need to measure
Lyman e zee gauge II case length checker
This gauge saves a lot of time. It is a lot quicker than getting out the calipers and checking every case with them, maybe not as accurate as the calipers, but a lot faster, a lot easier,and accurate enough. I highly recommend it.

Case gauge
A handy item that will speed up case prep, but I wouldn't replace caliper measures totally with it. Solid, not flimsy, it should last for many years. Covers most popular calibers, but doesn't cover (other than 375 H&H mag) the big game calibers or 50 BMG.

- Quick, initial measurement of cases
