Stores easily by hanging on tabs or flat storage, is NOT hard plastic. Right size for workbench weapons cleaning and divider ribs keep parts in check & from running off table top. Clean with dish soap (no odor like bore cleaner)or bore cleaner and air dry. Works well with semiauto and revolver parts during cleaning. Bottom has a grip surface to keep pad in place. Lyman makes quality, practical stuff and recommend.

Lyman Essential Mat
Exactly as shown and at a very reasonable price. Helps keep your work area clean and parts from wandering off. Buy a Velcro strap to roll this up and hold it closed to store it, if needed, or hang it from hooks if you have a dedicated work bench. A small parts cup that would snap in to the mat would be a good improvement.

Like the compartments...
The set in compartments do keep parts from rolling off the table and contains liquids. Good size for handguns. Enough cushioning I can used it to push the barrel of my Ruger Mark 2 Target back onto the frame to seat it without worrying about marking the barrel.
