Lyman Fiber Optic for Great Plains Rifle
Great sights for Early Morning and Late Evening hunting in the dark pines and timber. Easy to install and to adjust. They look great on the rifle . Would definitely recommend these sight for you Great Plains Rifle for your next deer hunting season .

Lyman Fiber Optic sights
The "Lyman" sights were purchased for a 50 cal. "Lyman GPR Flintlock". The dovetail for the new rear sight was to small and just fell out.
I had to tap both ends with a hammer on the barrel to tighten the opening for the dovetail to be tightened in by the set along with some liquid metal tight loc...

Doesn't fit CVA Frontier
Not a direct replacement for the sights on a CVA Frontier octagon barrel from Spain. The front dovetail on the sight was way too big for the dovetail in the barrel. I guess a person could file away a bunch of material and get it to fit. The rear sight was made for a larger octagon barrel and had gaps on both sides of the 45 degree surfaces. Neither supplied dovetail attachment for the rear sight fit the barrel dovetail. They were soft aluminum which deforms very easily.
