Does What It Says
It holds shells! It adds a rail! What more do you want? It's quite nice- feels solid, installation was quite easy. No issues with shell fit. Two notes- it will scratch up the finish on the gun a bit as you install it, and the rail does not sit flush on top. It's more like a shelf- you can see under it and sight with the standard bead sight.

Great Buy and Best Bang for the Buck
Definitely my first and only shotgun rail system I will be running. It was super easy to install, the directions were helpful, but in my honest opinion YouTube will probably steer you better along the way. Make sure you definitely have some smaller wrenches for the lug nut closest to the actual shell holder. Also be mindful that you might have to change your sights or get a red dot because the rail rides just a little on the high side which kind of blocks the front sight. Overall great system and I will be buying another one for my next shotgun.
