Ern's Review of Lyman Ultrasonic Case Cleaner for Brass Reloading
I cleaned some already processed .223 cases that were previously tumbled clean. I pre soaked in Birchwood Casey case cleaner and then ran 3 480 second cycles in a 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water solution with a drop of dawn dish soap per 8oz of solution you make. This cleaned the primer pockets and inside of cases well and I was surprised at the amount of carbon I got off of brass I had previously processed with just a tumbler! You might try lymans ultrasonic cleaner for brass and gun parts to see if it works any better.
Pros: Heated tank. Cleans primer pockets and inside cases well if right cleaning solution is used
Cons: a little noisy on the buzzing but that is expected for ultrasonics
