Wow! This beats the tumbling method for me!

In less than 2 hours I cleaned over 650 casings (9mm and 45 auto). I used around 4 ounces of the Lyman Turbo Sonic cleaner and distilled water. I purchased a gallon of the distilled water and also used it to post clean the brass to remove the cleaner. Then I placed the casings on an old towel and let them dry on their sides. Now over 150 of the casings had been de-primed and the remaining 500 were not. I used the 480 seconds times two plus heat for 5 batches of 130 casings. The results are awesome. Super clean throughout. I am not getting rid of my tumbler as it will be used for other casings. But this product and the cleaning solution make the process easier, quicker and excellent in result for handgun casings. I cannot say anything for rifle or brass that has a neck. I recommend it. OpticsPlanet packages it well and ships quickly too!

Good Product With Limitations

Does a good job cleaning brass cases - pistol and rifle. I use the ultrasonic case cleaner after tumbling, sizing/decapping and pocket cleaning/uniforming my brass cases. It does a decent job cleaning the inside and pockets of the cases, but leaves the cases dull in color. I then retumble them with corncob/polish to bring them back to reasonable shine.

Cleaner Works Great

Does it pretty good job, but doesn't completely clean the inside of the brass cases. If I had to improve the design, it would be to increase the timer to allow greater times. I find that I'm running 2-3 cycles of the maximum time of 480 seconds to clean the cases. Also, the heat function doesn't have a timer, so I have to use an external in-line timer to ensure the cleaner completely shuts off.

Ultrasonic Case Cleaner for Brass

I am an avid reloader and i find that this ultrasonic cleaner does an extremely good job of cleaning my brass both inside and out, including the primer pocket. It is also very fast...it is so fast that it amazes me each time i use it. I would recommend this to everyone needing to clean items having to do with reloading and their small arms.

Id buy another if I could

So far there hasnt been anything that you would want to put in a sonic cleaner that has not fit. All the parts and brass I can grab still fit and works very well. East set up and super easy use.
Pros: Easy to use and relatively cheap
Cons: none so far

Excellent compact ultrasonic cleaner

This is the product I've been looking for: Able to handle 1911 slide and frame, glock frame, AR-15 bolt carrier, FCM. Has really made cleanup after matches a breeze. Also used on some of my wife's jewelry- did a great job on that. I haven't used it for brass cases, but have no doubt it will do well.
Pros: Easy set up, versatile
Cons: need another basket for jewelry use

Amazing!!!

I wish I hadn't waited so long to get this. So easy to operate and gets whatever you're working on clean and shiny. Extremely pleased with the whole deal.

This superb product was purchased specifically to clean 1911A1 and other gun parts after heavy use. It was also purchased to clean 9MM cases and household brass/copper items. It has exceeded my expectations.
Pros: sets-up easily and works flawlessly
