I purchased a Canon T2i in May 2010 and purchased the warranty recommended by the major retailer from whom I purchased the camera. Long story short, i had a SD card come apart in the camera and called for repair and was informed that I had been sold the wrong warranty. I was advised by Mack to go back to the retailer and explain the situation and the retailer basically said "Sorry" and that they would refund my money for the warranty but that I would have to pay to have camera repaired because it was over a year and they could not reissue me another warranty. I went back to Mack and they told me upfront not to worry and to go ahead and prepare to ship the camera to them. They took it on themselves to contact the retailer and worked to straigten everything out and called me to let me know that everything was worked out and to send my camera in.

Thanks to a company whose professionalism doesn't have to be begged for.
I will highly recommend this warranty company to anyone purchasing any type of camera/video equipment...they stand up for their customers even when they really aren't technically their customers.
Thanks again to the staff at Mack...you really have been a blessing to me!

Strongly recommend this additional Warranty coverage to anyone who has made the investment on an expensive camera and/or lens.
Pros: protect the camera & lens from mfg. defects as well as accidental damage
