Most Helpful Positive Review Best mini type flashlight you can buy.
At work or play Maglite LED is an invaluable instrument.Much better than the old zenon bulb models that ate up bulbs and batteries.Always use Duracell or quality rechargeables batteries.USE OF INFERIOR BATTERIES caused pure misery for me one COLD,rainy morning at work doing an emergency repair at the top of a grain elevator(I will never repeat that mistake).BTW these flashlights can survive many drops and other field abuse.Optics Planet has the best price, tack one on to your next order, you wont be sorry. Pros: Durable, handy, reliable Cons: NONE at all

Mini Maglite LED 2 AA

by thingsRP45, from MO, United States Written on December 2, 2020
Bright enough for the price. Good battery life. Avoid dropping on hard ground. Finish will get scratched. Suggest using a lanyard or cord through hole on base cap to tie flashlight to your belt or other secure spot. Make sure base cap is screwed snug to keep flashlight from unscrewing apart. Which can happen during strenuous activities.
Pros:
  • Good batery life, bright enough
Cons:
  • Base cap can unscrew unlesss kept snug
Best Used for:
  • General use and hunting

SP2209HJ - The Next Generation

by sakana, Verified Owner from Japan Written on January 30, 2016
Where the older style of the Mini Maglite LED has a larger head than the incandescent version and no hole on the tail cap to attach a lanyard, with the next generation Mini Maglite LED, we see the return of the smaller head so the rubber rim for the face cap fits as well as the lenses of the accessories pack. The hole to attach a lanyard is back in the tail cap.
It measures 1/2" longer than the incandescent version.
It's really good for me ;)
