I bought these as replacements for a Dorcy flashlight/traffic wand. Those wands cracked when dropped. These are a softer, tougher plastic, probably polyethylene. The white one looks sharp with an LED lamp installed especially the NiteIze PR replacement which puts out a bluish white light.
Pros: They fit some other flashlights. Soft plastic won't crack.
Cons: None.
