I have owned many different Maglite's throughout my life. I have found them to be very sturdy but not very bright. If I wanted a bright flashlight I'd always look elsewhere, Surefire would usually be my first choice. I have many flashlights in my home and I always have a AA and a C cell model or two handy because of the ease of finding batteries. I received the Maglite ML50LX 3-cell this week and couldn't be more pleased. It is VERY BRIGHT and versatile. It changes brightness settings with ease. If the batteries last as long as advertised it will be a great light. Its a perfect flashlight for around the house/general use or emergencies, in your vehicle. Optics Planet got it to me fast. I'm a repeat customer here and always pleased with Optics Planet.
